PLEASE NOTE: This Durga statue is missing a few pieces, which is why it is marked down so low from the normal price of $245. Namely, the statue is missing a trident (a three-pronged spear) and a bow, which are normally held in the left hands of Durga statues. Unfortunately, these pieces were lost in transit when we had the statue shipped to us from Thailand, and we don't have any spare pieces.
Aside from these missing pieces, this statue is in great condition. It depicts Mother Durga riding her mount, the Lion, and even though Sri Durga can be destructive, this pose is particularly calming and regal in appearance.
This is a quite massive statue, measuring 11 Inches Tall by 10 Inches wide by 6 Inches Deep, and being made out of cast bronze, it is satisfyingly heavy, too, and wieghs 13 pounds. So it is great as a main piece for an altar table.
You will also be pleased by the amount of detail that goes into this Durga statue. The clothing that Sri Durga wears, for example, isintricately detailed, as are the features in her headdress and the Lion's beard. All in all, despite the mising pieces, we feel you will still be delighted with this statue.
