Singing bowls are often used for meditation and concentration purposes, both by monks and by everyday people who simply want to relax. You place the singing bowl on a small pillow or soft floor and slowly rub the included striking stick along the outside of the bowl. It will gradually begin to sing, and the volume can be controlled by the user - rub softly for low volume, rub harder for higher volume.
Please note that these singing bowls are made in Nepal due to the difficulty in getting any kind of high quality product from occupied Tibet. These deluxe sining bowls are not to be confused with inferior copies that are made in China.
