These cloth panel shoulder bags are handmade in Nepal and each one is truly unique. Being made one at a time, no two purses are exactly alike, but in general they feature several red, orange, purple, blue or other colored "patches" woven into a solid, durable cloth shoulder bag. Each bag also has wonderful decorations added to it, such as pooka shells and small, round mirrors, woven into the fabric. The bags also boast two-inch-long tassles on the bottom corners to add a little more style.
The pouch on this shoulder bag is 12 inches wide by 11 inches tall, so you could put lots of stuff in there, and has a string tie top which will cinch it closed in the middle (but please note that there are no inside pocets in the lining). The shoulder straps extend up 20 inches from each side, and since the strap is over 2 and a half inches wide, it will distribute the weight better and be more comfortable to carry than bags with narrow straps. All in all, an exciting, colorful shoulder bag that is as attractive as it is useful.
