Finally back in are these Purple Lakshmi shirts from Thailand and they look great (much better than in the picture I took). Lakshmi is the Hindu Goddess of Wealth and fortune and is dear to many people in Nepal, India, and anywhere else that Hinduism has spread throughout the world.
Lakshmi (also commonly spelled Laxmi) is revered by all beings on the planet, whether they be humans, demons or the Devas (Hindu gods and goddesses) as her beauty and elegance are unmatched throughout the Hindu pantheon. Sri Lakshmi is the wife of Lord Vishnu, who is the sustainer of the Universe in the Hindu Trinity. In each of Vishnu's incarnations's on earth, Sri Lakshmi is born as his wife (whether as Sita, wife of King Rama, or as Radha, the milkmaid, who is the fancy of Sri Krishna).
But you don't have to be a devotee of Sri Lakshmi to enjoy the beautiful colors and wonderful design of this Lakshmi shirt.
