These are sterling silver bracelets with the Eight Auspicious symbols of Buddhism, often called an Astamangala. These include the Lotus Blossom, Endless Knot, Wheel of Dharma, Fly Whisk, Parasol, Twin Fish, Conch Shell, and Water Vase. It is also common to see these symbols in Jainist temples as well, as these symbols are sacred in Jainism as well. In fact, the Asta Mangala symbols are often carved into many different ritual objects, and women devotees will often cook rice in the shapes of these sacred symbols.
This bracelet is 7 and a half inches long from the tip of one clasp to the tip of the other, and each indivicual symbol is just about half an inch in diameter.
