Sukhothai Buddha Amulet:
This is a traditional style of amulet based on the Sukhothai Walking Buddha sculptures. That type of statue is known for its graceful appearance, as if the Buddha was not just walking, but more gliding on air. It has been given a rich green patina to simulate aging.
Sukhothai is an ancient capital of Thailand, at the base of the northern mountains in Thailand. The Sukhothai period is often thought of as the Golden Age of Thai kingdoms, and was the era that saw many developments in the culture of Thailand.
You can also purchase an optional Thai Silver Necklace Chain with this pendant if you would like. The Ball Chain Necklace (left) is 17 Inches Long and the Link Chain Necklace (Right) Is 18 Inches Long. Each ball or link is approximately 2 milliliters in diameter.
