These Yin Yang Sympol pendants are made of resin, but are designed to look like they are made out of wood and shell. The Yin Yang design looks like it is made from mother of pearl, and to be honest, it is nearly impossible to tell that it isn't unless you are examining it very closely.
The Yin Yang sign is a symbol of completelness in the universe, and has many different meanings. Some hold that it symbolizes the relationship of man to God, with a little bit of God in all humankind, and a little bit of humanness in God. Others also point out the relationship between man and women, separate but interconnected with a bit of the feminine side in all men, and a bit of the masculine side in all women.
