This is a greeting card with an image of Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed God of Wisdom and Success. He is believed to oversee auspicious beginnings and can remove obstacles. His elephant head is a symbol of his immense wisdom. Ganesha is one of the sons of Siva / Shiva, who is believed to be king of the snakes. In his left hand he holds a lotus blossom, a symbol of purity in Hinduism and Buddhism. In his right hand he holds an ax to symbolize man's attatchment to material desire.
