This Peace Sign Bracelet is made in the Mountain Kingdom of Nepal, and is made out of resin. All the round peace symbols are mounted on two elastic cords that run through them, so it adjusts to fit most wrists (although people with particularly large wrists might find it tight).

The peace sign started out decades ago as an Anti Nuclear Warfare symbol. This was during the height of the Cold War, and many people in England were demonstrating against having nuclear bomb carrying aircraft at their local air bases.

The symbol became so well known, that many people decided to start using it as a protest against ALL war. In the Sixties and Seventies, it became a world wide symbol of the anti war movement, and has now become one of the most widely recognized symbols on the planet.

Each individual peace sign on these bracelets is a little over an inch in diameter, so they are bigger than a nickel but smaller than a quarter.
