Respect Yourself
Description:
Sit and be with yourself. Close your eyes. Breathe,
feel your chest expand. Allow a sense of your own
dignity and integrity to raise your head up and
straighten your back. Not ramrod straight, but
a relaxed straight that feels full of self-respect
and self-love.
When and Where:
Practice this anytime, anywhere, whenever
you have five, ten or fifteen minutes to be with
yourself. You could also try this for a few moments
with eyes open at work: when you are talking with
someone, or walking down a corridor,
sitting at your desk.
Benefits:
Ths technique will help you value yourself and
feel pride in yourself and your ahievements.
People will sense this because when you value
yourself you are beyond comparison and so
is everyone else. You attract more respect
from others.
