Courage
Description:
Courage is not an absence of fear. It is allowing
the presence of fear with the courage to stand in
it and face what is there.
As we learn where our fears originate, how to
understand them, then we can heal them.
Their mastery over us lessens and
we gradually reclaim our authentic self.
When and Where:
When fear arises, accept it, welcome it, breathe.
Allow the fear to be there, see if you can understand
where it is coming from. What is the root of this
fear? Stand in it and take action despite the fear.
Benefits:
Courage is required to change
when change is needed, to stand up for our own
truth even against the opinion of others, and to
embrace the unknown in spite of our
fears - whether it be in our relationships, in our
careers, or in the ongoing journey of understanding
who we are and why we are here.
As we develop the inner courage that
enables us to lead authentic, fulfilling lives on a
day-to-day basis, we expand and our
dreams come true.
