Hello Yoga People,
I’ve been dreaming wild river and ocean dreams, and am compelled to go to the river again this year.
If you are drawn to serpentine down the Tuolumne, or to join one of these other upcoming Yoga moments, let me know...
Yoga/Rafting Trip down the Tuolumne river, Aug-14-15, (Sun - Mon) Please let me know ASAP if you would like to come. The Rafting company needs 10 people confirmed by July 18th.
The Tuolumne is beautiful and wild and remote.
It carves a deep canyon through the territory North of Yosemite.
We'll be lulled to sleep by the river rolling past us, and we'll have a meditation and yoga practice in the morning before we launch.
The wildness and the intensity of being on the river is hugely transformative- and uproariously fun.
The cost for this trip will be $450. Deposit of $200 must be paid in order to reserve your spot. (If you are interested but cannot make the date, let me know, for I may organize a later trip as well, on the Kern.)
€ Saturday, August 27th, from 10am-5pm Yoga and Transformational Communication Workshop with Kelly Blaser
and Nonviolent Communication Certified Trainer Jean Morrison.
For more about Jean, see: http://www.nvcsantacruz.org/trainers.html
This daylong workshop will be held at the beautiful Big Basin Winery, about 45 minutes from Santa Cruz.
The vineyard happens to be owned by one of our local yogis. To preview the gorgeous yoga room, see http://www.bigbasinvineyard.com/ Catered lunch will be included and the cost is $95. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
To register, send a check to me (Kelly Blaser) at the address below.
€ Later, sometime in September, Samantha Matthews and I will hold another Yoga Workshop at the Big Basin Winery.
Stay tuned for dates. This will undoubtedly be the only time soon that we’ll get Samantha back to Santa Cruz, so hop to it!

If you want to build a ship, don't herd people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
