Khan & Alam Khan. Throughout the Evening we will explore the history
and evolution of this rich and melodic instrument. Ali Akbar Khan’s
mastery of the elegant, 25 string sarode is legendary. With his sons,
Aashish and Alam, you will be swept away by the beauty and power of the
sarode. The incomparable Swapan Chaudhuri will accompany the Khan trio
on tabla along with youngest son Manik Khan on tanpura. Join us for the
