Shweta Jhaveri is one of the celebrated performers of Indian vocal music in the 21st century. Her specialty is the North Indian classical Music form 'Khayal'. A musician par excellence, she is acclaimed as one of the most innovative Indian vocalists and a sparkling talent in World Music today.
Presently in her 30's, Shweta is the founder of 'Cosmic Khayals', a music publishing company since 1998, presenting her lyrics and compositions under her record label '21st Century Cosmos'. Shweta Jhaveri, since her young age of 19, is the first female vocalist from Gujarat-India to perform vocal classical music in India and Abroad. She is also a pioneering Indian classical vocalist, recording and appearing in live concerts with western musicians.
