If you have already booked a hotel and reservations to travel to the parts of Thailand affected by the Tsunami, you will probably be happy to hear that there is an update of hotels that are operating and those that are closed. Please click the following link to see the list of hotels in Phuket and Krabi province in Thailand.
It would be best to just double check as well, since some places might be back open already, and some that suffered minor damage may have decided to close for repairs. Also, because of the drop off in tourism from the Tsunami, some will have undoubtedly closed due to economic reasons.
But we know for sure that if you do go you will have a WONDERFUL opportunity to enjoy yourself, meet wonderful people, and help the area recover, just by visiting and spending money there.
