Dear Visitors,

Whenever we hear about a friend in crisis, we always try to help out in what little way we can. So we are passing along this messsage from a Dharma Practitioner:

----------------------------------------------------------

To My Sangha Sisters & Brothers,

My name is Kaye Barbour. Some of you I know and many I have not yet met. I am writing to ask for your help.

In February 2002 I was forced to leave Garchen Rinpoche’s center in Chino Valley, AZ because of a health crisis: my kidneys failed. I will be on dialysis for the rest of my life unless, as I am a candidate for a transplant, a donor comes forward.

This brings me to the purpose of my letter. If any Sangha member is interested in Kidney Donation and has Blood Type B or O, positive or negative, please give me a call at the telephone number listed below. I also need to raise upwards of 50,000 dollars to pay for medical needs not covered by my insurance. I am grateful for any donation, great or small. Please feel free to call or e-mail with any questions you may have.

Please remember me in your Prayers.

MAY ALL BEINGS BE HAPPY!

Thankyou all,

With love,

Kaye Barbour

PHONE: 802-453-3431

Checks of support my be made payable to: Kaye Barbour, earmarked, “Kidney Fund”.

Address:

Kaye Barbour 1892 Downingsville Rd. Lincoln, VT 05443

You can also contact me through my sangha email: ddcv@gmavt.net

Thankyou!

3/31/06 - UPDATE

Recently my doctors informed me that my dialysis is not working at full capacity. It is not yet critical but there is no time to waste. Anyone interested in Kidney Donation please call 802-453-3431. To make a monetary donation please see above mailing address. Thank you!
