I just wanted to follow up about our brief blog about Chinese New Year. If you are interested in Bangkok, and in particular about the Chinese population in Bangkok, there is a very detailed article about some of the Chinese Temples there in today's edition of the Bangkok Post Online.
 Many of the Chinese shrines are dedicated to, or have statues of Kwan Yin (also known as Chao Mae Kuan Yu in Thailand). You can read more by clicking this link to Kwan Yin the Chinese Goddess of Compassion.
