Our friend Kelly from http://www.yogawithkelly.com/ sent us this note about her upcoming English - Spanish Yoga classes that we thought we should pass along:
Hi all-
Late Breaking Yoga News is that my plan for the Wednesday morning class at the Yoga Center Santa Cruz is to gradually transition to a BILINGUAL (English-Spanish) Level 2 Yoga Class.
This of course depends on interest- hopefully word will spread to Spanish-speaking folks and they will start showing up.
I need help spreading the word, so if any of you have any ideas, let me know.
I will work to accommodate all levels and will switch back and forth from English to Spanish, so those who are mono-lingual Spanish Speakers will be accommodated and those who are simply wanting to learn/listen to Spanish will, hopefully, be entertained. Please feel free to come even if you don't speak any Spanish and don't even have the desire to learn!
You’ll have even more excuses to ignore me and skip the poses you don’t like.
By the way, I am happy to offer discounts to those who are financially challenged. My normal drop in rate is $10/class, and my series rate is $8/class. First class is STILL FREE!
Also, the Mount Madonna Center retreat on March 31-April 2 is now full. If you are interested in being on the waiting list, let me know. I am still in process of formulating a plan for a September Retreat in Costa Rica or Guatemala or Mexico...
For those of you who are local, we are having a gathering this Saturday night, 7:30pm, at Steve’s on Westcliff. Let me know if you did not receive the evite but would like to come. You're all invited!
Namaste, Kelly
