The mind is continuously bombarded from all sides by all kinds of thoughts. To protects ourselves, the mind
has created a protective wall of buffers.The only way to break through is the same way as breaking through your own thoughts.
Become a witness of your thoughts.
As your thoughts start disappearing, the need for the buffers
to protect those thoughts will not be there. Only the person who knows how to meditate knows how to listen, or vice-versa. Because it is the same thing!
Sit by the side of a tree, on your bed, anywhere - try to listen
to the noise of the mind, intensely and totally, with no
judgment that it is good or bad. By and by, your thoughts will
drop and with that your buffers will drop - and suddenly a gap
opens
up which leads you to inner silence and peace.
Use this method whenever you can - standing in a bus,
sitting in traffic, lying down on the bed.
It will bring you great peace.
