This statue of the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi stands 11 inches tall and is made of copper and brass. This statue depicts Lakshmi - the goddess of fortune and abundance - holding an oil lamp in front of her. An oil lamp is commonly used in hindu religious rituals.
Lakshmi stands upon a pedestal which rests atop a highly stylized lotus blossom. On the sides of the lotus blossom are more oil lamps.
