This Kuan Yin Statue stands 10 Inches Tall by 5 Inches Wide by 5 Inches Deep, and is made to look like it was carved from a large piece of Jade (one of the most precious materials in ancient Chiense society). In fact, these statues are actually cast in a dark green resin, giving the appearance of beautiful jade.
But no matter the material, we think you will be impressed by the unique look and size of these Kuan Yin statues. She is depicted sitting on a throne in a posture of "Royal Ease" and in here left hand, she hods a vase upside down, from which she pours compassion on to the world. Her right foot rests upon a double lotus blossom, a symbol for purity in Buddhism and Hinduism. (Please note that Kuan Yin is also often spelled as Kwan Yin or Quan Yin or even Kuan Ti).
