These Durga on a Lion statues are 7 Inches tall and have been given a "rust" colored patina, so that they appear like an antique statue, when in reality, these are contemporary. The styling of this statue, on the other hand, is purly traditional, as you will note the decoration on Durga's clothing and hair.
Durga carries many different weapons, as she was called upon by the other gods to defeat a demon which they, themselves, had not been able to defeat. Each god gave Durga a weapon, which she carried into battle.
