This Wednesday night (Aug 5) at Club 101 there will be a benefit where our entrance fees go toward the family of a female salsa DJ (www.latinladydj.com) who just lost the battle with cervical cancer two days ago. She was well known in the salsa arena so this next Wednesday a lot of performers and dancers will be coming to Club 101 to support the fundraiser. It should be a really good night. I have included an email from Angie below so you can see how the night is unfolding. See you all there and please pass this information along. We shouldn’t miss this.

This Weekend Groove Garden moves its muse up the coast to Mendocino to support:

Not only is there a great line up of “worthshops” and DJ’s, but there is now a new SUNDAY ONLY price structure for those of you who want to come up on Sunday to hang, dance (Dragonfly,Starfire, Rhythmystic) and camp till Monday. The site is amazing!!!: It’s a meadow-like setting in the woods, and a 5 minute walk to the beach! So, NOTE: There will NOT be a Groove Garden in Fairfax August 1st.

However, on August 8th, from 10pm to 7am, in a Left Coast church (in Oakland) reformed for freakiness K O I N O N E A, Groove Garden & Submerge present :”Sanctuary Two”, where the stars from the Far East, the Middle East and the West will align perfectly.
