These Dancing Ganesh Statues stand 8 inches tall and are made of cold cast Bronze resin, a technique invented by the British that mixes bronze powder and resin together to make a unique statue that is then hand painted. The finish of these Ganesh statues is what makes these figures so special; The power and grace of Ganesh is captured by the warm, antique bronze look to the body, while Lord Ganesh's clothing is giving a subtle finish.
As Ganesh is the son of Lord Shiva, you will probably notice that this is the same dancing pose in the Shiva Nataraja statues. However, there are some differences; Shiva is surrounded by a ring made of Agni the God of Fire, and dances upon a demon. Lord Ganesh dances upon a lotus blossom, symbolizing purity.
